Eeeek! We are stoked to have Stand & Hammer Cycling Co. working with us to create these awesome hats. Check out their website to pre-order. There are different style options and limited quantities available, so hurry over!
Hat’s should be ready mid to late October and can be shipped or picked up at a race.
The news is out! Jonathan Page himself is coming down to Georgia to lead a cyclocross clinic October 12-14th.
Jonathan Page is arguably the most decorated cyclocross racer America has ever seen. He won two U.S. Junior Cyclocross Championships and a U-23 Cyclocross Championship. In 2002, Jonathan moved to Belgium, the birthplace of cyclocross, to compete with the best in the world. He then went on to win four U.S. National Cyclocross Championships (2003-2004, 2007,2013) and a silver medal in the 2007 UCI World Cyclocross Championships. From 2002-2015, he podiumed every year of the U.S. National Cyclocross Championships. After an injuryplagued 2014 season, Jonathan proved he still had plenty of fight left—winning a silver medal at the 2015 U.S. National Cyclocross Championships (a flat tire holding him back from gold), followed by a number of podiums the following season.
Check out all the details on the clinic here.

We can barely contain our excitement! Cross is just around the corner and the unofficial opening of cross season with Brownwood Bike Rally in Atlanta has already happened. We can’t wait to see our cross family again next weekend and hope to see lots of new faces out there. A few things to note before the first race:
– We have a revised schedule with some new categories. Make sure to check the flyers!
– Just a little tease but we have shirts and hats coming this year! More details to come.
– There will be a drop race this year since there are less off weekends.
– Make sure your USA Cycling licenses are up to date before the first race and they reflect the category you want to race.

We can’t help but love all of our local GACX peeps! As cross is approaching we thought we’d share some wisdom from one of our own.
“Meet yourself where you are today without judgement” … And remember to fight like hell for a better day tomorrow”
– Brianna Goral
Check out her post here.
We can’t wait to see the whole GRITS team out this fall!
Are you interested in hosting a GACX race? If so shoot Elizabeth Lee an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Friday February 9th 2018 to get on the list. If you have been on the email list in the past no need to contact her again. But, if you are proposing a new course/venue please contact her. Let the 2018 planning commence! #crossiscoming #okayitskindafaraway #butwerestillexcited #crossisboss #gacx

Due to the cancellation of Grant Park and the addition of Ellenwood CX, the Parks-Law.com Georgia Cyclocross Series p/b Terrapin has decided to add a drop race to the series for 2017. The individual final series standings will be the best 10 out of 11 races, the lowest points race will count as the drop race. Drop races will not be factored into the individual series standings until the series finale. There will be no drop points for the team competition.
Due to forecasted thunderstorms and lightning Grant Park CX Cup is CANCELED this Sunday. We will be adding Ellenwood CX Ranch to the GACX schedule for Saturday November 4th. All pre-registered riders entries will be transferred. If you pre-registered and will be unable to attend please contact Clay Parks.
